![]() Only on one occasion did I have to patch my OS, when PlanetSide 2 made the leap from DX9 to DX11. Most of the games I'm playing now, are either DX11 or DX12 and they work fine along with any DX9 games I tend to play from time to time. So of course my rig is running AMD FX-gen CPU, Radeon GPU and Patriot RAM with SSD for OS and stuff than never gets updates or changes (which sorry guys, Windows 7 is PERFECT for), and then a basic HDD for all the games and anything that gets constant changes/updates. I am your average quintessential gamer, who spends more money on the games, than the hardware. ![]() I don't run Intel i-gens and I don't do N-Vidia. I know this from plenty of experience, and there isn't anything yet about Windows 10 that can change my mind. I simply use Windows 7 Ultimate because IT IS BETTER than Windows 10, for gaming. Not because of privacy concerns, not because I am a technophobe, and not because I am a Martian Reptilian that eats earth puppies either. Not even Felipe Rose has that much fringe in his closet on his leather jackets.īy the way, I am a Windows 7 Ultimate user.
